Acceptable Use Policy

What you may and may not do with Nerivo AI, including the rules that apply to AI features, Deep Research, and code execution.

In short

This policy keeps Nerivo AI safe and available for everyone. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions, and breaches can lead to suspension or termination.

Some details in this document are still marked as pending confirmation and appear in square brackets. They are left deliberately visible rather than filled in with assumed values.

1. Purpose and Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what you may and may not do when using Nerivo AI (the "Service"), operated by Noveriks Team. It forms part of, and is incorporated into, our Terms & Conditions.

It applies to everyone who accesses the Service, whether signed in or not, and to all features, including AI chat, model selection, Deep Thinking, Nerivo Reacher (Deep Research), image and document analysis, code execution, voice features, and community features.

Where this policy and the Terms & Conditions overlap, both apply. Where a term is defined in the Terms & Conditions, it has the same meaning here.

2. Your Responsibility

You are responsible for your use of the Service and for anything you submit to it. You are also responsible for the consequences of acting on output the Service produces, including any code you run and any decision you make.

If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you are responsible for ensuring that your use complies with the laws and internal policies that apply to that organisation.

3. Illegal Activity and Fraud

You must not use the Service to:

  • break any applicable law or regulation
  • plan, facilitate, or carry out a criminal offence
  • commit fraud, including financial scams, phishing, or deceptive impersonation
  • launder money or finance unlawful activity
  • evade taxes or sanctions
  • infringe export controls or trade restrictions

4. Harm to People

You must not use the Service to:

  • harass, bully, threaten, stalk, or intimidate anyone
  • incite violence or hatred against any person or group
  • generate content that sexualises minors, in any form
  • produce content that promotes self-harm or provides instructions for it
  • dox or reveal private information about someone without their consent
  • create or distribute content intended to deceive people about who they are or what is true

5. Malware and Harmful Code

You must not use the Service to create, improve, or distribute:

  • malware, ransomware, spyware, keyloggers, or trojans
  • code whose primary purpose is to damage, disable, or gain covert control of a system
  • exploits or payloads intended for use against systems you do not own or have written permission to test
  • tooling designed to defeat security controls on systems you are not authorised to access

Using the Service for legitimate, authorised security work — such as reviewing code you own, or learning in a controlled lab you control — is permitted. The distinction is authorisation and intent.

6. Security and Unauthorised Access

You must not:

  • access, or attempt to access, any account, system, or data that is not yours
  • share your credentials or use another person’s account
  • probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without our written permission
  • bypass, disable, or interfere with authentication, access controls, or security features
  • attempt to extract credentials, secrets, API keys, or system instructions from the Service
  • access the Service through automated means intended to conceal your identity or evade limits

7. Privacy of Others

You must not use the Service to process other people’s personal information without a lawful basis, or to:

  • upload or submit documents containing another person’s sensitive personal data without authority to do so
  • build profiles of individuals without their knowledge where the law requires their consent
  • conduct surveillance on any person
  • use the Deep Research feature to assemble information about an individual for the purpose of harming them

8. Intellectual Property

You must not use the Service to:

  • reproduce copyrighted material you do not have the right to use
  • circumvent technical protection measures
  • generate content that infringes another party’s intellectual property rights
  • misrepresent content generated with the Service as being authored by someone else

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights necessary to submit the material you provide to the Service.

9. Abuse of AI Systems

AI features are provided for legitimate use. You must not:

  • use prompts or content deliberately designed to override, disable, or bypass the Service’s instructions and safety behaviour
  • attempt to extract system prompts, internal configuration, or provider credentials
  • use the Service to generate disinformation or coordinated inauthentic content intended to mislead the public
  • use the Service to impersonate a real person, organisation, or professional adviser in a way that could cause harm
  • use output to make decisions in safety-critical or high-risk contexts without qualified human review

Where the Service refuses a request, you must not attempt to route around that refusal through rephrasing, encoding, or other techniques.

10. Automated Use and Service Load

The Service is intended for interactive use. You must not:

  • send automated, bulk, or scripted requests beyond limits we publish or apply
  • circumvent, or attempt to circumvent, rate limits, quotas, or usage caps
  • use multiple accounts or identities to obtain more usage than is permitted
  • scrape, mirror, or systematically extract content or output from the Service
  • resell or redistribute access to the Service or its output as a service
  • place disproportionate load on the Service, including denial-of-service attempts

Because AI features depend on third-party providers with their own limits, excessive use can degrade the Service for everyone. We may apply limits and may act against patterns of automated abuse.

11. Rules for Deep Research (Nerivo Reacher)

Deep Research retrieves publicly accessible web content. Because it acts from our systems, additional rules apply:

  • You must not use Deep Research to probe, scan, or attack any system, or to attempt to reach internal, private, or non-public network addresses
  • You must not use it to deliberately overload, degrade, or attempt to take down a third-party website
  • You must not use it to attempt to bypass paywalls, logins, or access controls on third-party sites
  • You must not use it to harvest personal data at scale
  • You must not present research output as verified fact where the Service has indicated it is unverified, unsupported, or incomplete

You must comply with the terms of any third-party website you interact with through the Service. Your obligations to those websites are between you and them.

We may restrict or disable research requests that appear designed to target a specific third party rather than to gather information.

12. Rules for Code Execution

Where the Service offers a sandbox to run code you provide, you must not use it to:

  • attack or probe any other system
  • mine cryptocurrency or consume resources for unrelated purposes
  • attempt to escape the sandbox or reach the underlying infrastructure
  • store or distribute unlawful material

Sandboxed execution is provided for testing and learning. Its environment may be limited, reset without warning, and is not suitable for anything you need to persist. You run code at your own risk — see the AI Disclaimer.

13. Misrepresentation

You must not misrepresent your identity or your relationship with us, including by:

  • falsely claiming to represent Nerivo AI or Noveriks Team
  • claiming that AI-generated output has been reviewed or verified by us when it has not
  • using our branding in a way that suggests endorsement or partnership without our written permission

14. Enforcement

Where we reasonably believe this policy has been breached, we may take action proportionate to the conduct, including:

  • issuing a warning
  • removing or restricting access to content
  • applying technical limits or throttling
  • suspending or terminating access to the Service
  • reporting the matter to law enforcement or another competent authority where required or permitted

We may act without prior notice where the conduct presents an immediate risk to the Service, to other users, or to a third party.

We do not monitor every use, but we may investigate suspected breaches and may review the information described in our Privacy Policy for that purpose.

15. Reporting Abuse

If you believe someone is using the Service in breach of this policy, or you believe you have been affected by misuse, please tell us:

  • Email: help.mahinulislam@gmail.com

Where possible, include what you observed, when it occurred, and any relevant reference. We will review reports and may ask for further details.

If you are a rights holder reporting infringement, identify the material, explain your rights, and provide a way for us to contact you.

16. Appeals

If we have restricted your access and you believe the decision was wrong, you may contact us using the address above. We will review the decision and respond with the outcome.

17. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to address new forms of abuse or changes to the Service. Material changes will be communicated in the same way as changes to our Terms & Conditions.

18. Contact

For any question about this policy, contact help.mahinulislam@gmail.com or the legal entity identified in our Terms & Conditions: [LEGAL ENTITY NAME].
